Job summary

UCHealth Urgent Care Steamboat-Steamboat Springs, CO, is seeking staff for on-site, PRN shifts in the UC OP department. The role provides emergent/urgent patient care under supervision, with a pay range of $22.54–$33.81 per hour, depending on experience.

The position requires a high school diploma or GED, BLS certification, and IV proficiency within 6 months. On-site work with no hybrid/remote option is offered.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• BLS Healthcare Provider card before start date; renewals as required.
• IV proficiency within 6 months of hire per department guidelines.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate patient flow to optimize throughput and inform patients of delays.
• Observe patients and notify provider if distress; assist during examinations.
• Insert Foley catheters, perform splinting, and venipuncture.
• Maintain exam/treatment rooms and supply levels per guidelines.
• Work with minimal supervision in a fast-paced environment.
