Job summary

MercyOne Health System is seeking an EMT-B/ED Tech to provide prompt emergency medical care for patients of all ages in both emergency and non-emergency situations requiring stabilization and resuscitation in the field.

Responsibilities include documentation, scene management per NIMS, and equipment decontamination/restocking; when not in the field, duties align with ED Tech responsibilities. High school diploma and EMT-B Illinois license required.

Qualifications

• Licensure/Registration: EMT-B Illinois license and valid driver's license.
• Training: NIMS National Incident Management System 100.
• Special Training: Basic Life Support.
• No experience required.

Responsibilities

• Provide prompt and effective emergency medical care to patients of all ages.
• Accurate documentation of the care provided.
• In scene management, follow the NIMS structure.
• Decontamination, cleaning, and restocking of equipment; serve as ED Tech when not in the field.
