Job summary

Regional Health Services in Cresco, IA seeks an EMT for our hospital-based advance life support ambulance program. You will perform specialized procedures and provide rapid emergency care to critically ill or injured patients under medical control.

Applicants must hold Iowa EMS certification, BLS/CPR or obtain within 3 months, a valid driver’s license, and Hazmat training within 1 year, plus successful completion of IC S200 within 3 months. Join a dedicated, team-oriented emergency service.

Qualifications

• Must hold Iowa EMS certification.
• EMS- Ambulance certification required (minimum).
• BLS/CPR certification or obtained within 3 months of employment.
• Valid driver’s license and Hazmat training within 1 year of onboarding.
• Successful completion of IC S200 within 3 months.

Responsibilities

• Perform life-sustaining procedures during hospital-based ambulance transport.
• Provide immediate emergency care under medical control physician.
• Transport critically ill or injured patients to care facilities.
• Contribute to team-based, patient-centered emergency response efforts.
