Job summary

Regional Health Services in Cresco, IA seeks an EMT for our hospital-based advance life support ambulance program. You will perform specialized procedures and provide rapid emergency care to critically ill or injured patients under medical control.

Applicants must hold Iowa EMS certification, BLS/CPR or obtain within 3 months, a valid driver’s license, and Hazmat training within 1 year, plus successful completion of IC S200 within 3 months. Join a dedicated, team-oriented emergency service.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Perform life-sustaining procedures during hospital-based ambulance transport.

• Contribute to team-based, patient-centered emergency response efforts.

Position Highlights

POSITION SUMMARY: Performs specialized life sustaining procedures in a hospital-based advance care ambulance service. Responsible for providing immediate emergency care and transport of the critically ill or injured under direction of medical control physician. Has successfully completed, as a minimum, the United States Department of Transportation's Emergency Medical Technician-Ambulance curriculum, passed the department's approved written and practical examinations and is currently certified as an EMT.

Position Qualifications

• Current EMS certification from the State of Iowa.
• BLS (CPR) certified or obtained within 3 months of employment.
• Valid driver’s license
• Current operational level Hazmat training within 1 year of onboarding.
• Successful completion of IC S200 within 3 months of employment
