Community College of Baltimore County (CCBC) invites qualified instructors to join our Emergency Medical Technology adjunct faculty. The role offers teaching day, evening, and weekend classes across our campuses, with compensation at Adjunct Level 1 ($1,085 per credit hour).

Qualifications

• An Associate's Degree in Emergency Medical Technology or a related field.
• Certified as a Maryland Emergency Medical Technician, or licensed as a Cardiac Rescue Technician-Intermediate, or Paramedic.
• A minimum of five (5) years of experience working in emergency medical services.
• Possess current certification as an American Heart Association Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) instructor.
• Maryland Instructor Certification Review Board (MICRB) certification as an Emergency Services instructor (must be completed within nine (9) months of hire).

Responsibilities

• Adjunct faculty will be expected to prepare and deliver instruction, cooperate with College support staff by timely submission of materials as required and coordinate activities with the Program Director or coordinator.
• Adjunct faculty is required to attend department meetings, participate in professional development and be available to students outside of class.
