Job summary

Global Medical Response is recruiting aspiring Emergency Medical Technicians in Las Vegas through a paid, full‑time EMT Academy. The ten‑week program qualifies graduates to take the National Registry EMT exam and pursue SNHD licensure, with books, tuition, fees and uniforms fully paid by AMR.

Qualifications

• Minimum age 18 years.
• HS diploma or GED.
• Able to meet health standards of the education program and immunization status.
• Pass pre-employment screening including drug test (THC/Marijuana).
• Valid state driver’s license (1 year driving experience).
• One year of work experience in healthcare or military preferred.
• Sign 12-month service commitment.

Responsibilities

• Drive emergency vehicle to and from calls, transporting patients safely.
• Demonstrate competency in basic life support and EMT-related skills.
• Assist in moving patients and securing them in the vehicle.
• Initiate patient treatment per EMT protocol.
• Document information accurately and completely.
• Maintain and inspect EMS equipment and supplies.
• Communicate with team, patients, and family as needed.
• Adhere to OSHA standards and maintain a safe workplace.
