Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Provide HS diploma or GED.
• Meet health standards for the program including immunizations and screenings.
• Pass pre-employment checks including background, drug testing, and agility test.

Responsibilities

• Drive emergency vehicle to and from calls while using safe, efficient routes.
• Demonstrate basic life support skills and EMT curriculum objectives.
• Assist in moving patients and securing them for transport.
• Initiate patient care using initial protocol treatment.
• Document all information per local procedures and medical control.
• Maintain equipment and vehicles, and restock supplies as needed.
