Premier Ambulance is seeking a dependable EMT in California to provide emergency and non-emergency patient transport. You will respond to calls, assess patients, and deliver compassionate care while maintaining high professional standards.

This position offers 8-, 9-, 10-, 11-, and 24-hour shift options with opportunities for career advancement. Wages start at $21.50/hour with ambulance experience and increase for qualified candidates.

Qualifications

• Current California EMT certification.
• Valid California Driver's License.
• CA Ambulance Driver Certificate.
• Ability to work in fast-paced EMS environment.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide safe, compassionate, and high-quality patient care within the EMT scope of practice.
• Respond to emergency and non-emergency medical transportation assignments.
• Assess, monitor, and appropriately care for patients.
• Safely transport patients to designated healthcare facilities.
• Operate and maintain ambulance equipment and medical supplies.
• Complete accurate patient care and required operational documentation.
• Communicate effectively with patients, families, healthcare providers, dispatch, and other emergency personnel.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and properly stocked ambulance.
• Remain calm and professional in high-stress situations.
• Follow company policies, clinical protocols, and applicable laws and regulations.

The successful candidate will demonstrate sound judgment, professionalism, strong communication skills, and the ability to remain calm in fast-paced and stressful situations.Wages ranging from *$21.50 (*with ambulance experience) and more. Slightly lower pay for brand new EMTs. NOTE: Some companies may try to offer a higher hourly rate BUT they have an alternate work week arrangement and do NOT pay overtime until after the 10th hour in a day. PREMIER PAYS OVERTIME AFTER THE 8th hour in a day.
