Job summary

Premier Ambulance in Fountain Valley, CA is hiring EMTs for full-time, wage range $21.50–$25.29 per hour with overtime after the 8th hour and flexible 8-, 9-, 10-, 11-, and 24-hour shifts.

You will provide safe patient care, respond to emergencies, transport to facilities, and participate in ongoing training and career development with benefits including medical/dental/vision, 401(k), and uniforms.

Qualifications

• Current California EMT certification.
• Valid California Driver's License.
• Valid California Ambulance Driver Certificate.
• Driving record that meets company and insurance requirements.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced EMS environment.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to safely perform the essential functions of the position, with or without reasonable accommodation.

Responsibilities

• Provide safe, compassionate, and high-quality patient care within the EMT scope of practice.
• Respond to emergency and non-emergency medical transportation assignments.
• Assess, monitor, and appropriately care for patients.
• Safely transport patients to designated healthcare facilities.
• Operate and maintain ambulance equipment and medical supplies.
• Complete accurate patient care and required operational documentation.
• Communicate effectively with patients, families, healthcare providers, dispatch, and other emergency personnel.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and properly stocked ambulance.
• Remain calm and professional in high-stress situations.
• Follow company policies, clinical protocols, and applicable laws and regulations.

Job Location: Fountain Valley - Fountain Valley, CA, Position Type: Full Time, Salary Range: $21.50 - $25.29Hourly, Job Shift: Any, If you are a dependable, compassionate, and patient-focused EMT looking for an opportunity to grow your EMS career, Premier Ambulance offers a professional environment with multiple shift options, career-development opportunities, and competitive compensation.

Wages ranging from *$21.50 (*with ambulance experience) and more. Slightly lower pay for brand new EMTs. NOTE: Some companies may try to offer a higher hourly rate BUT they have an alternate work week arrangement and do NOT pay overtime until after the 10th hour in a day. PREMIER PAYS OVERTIME AFTER THE 8th hour in a day. We also have 24-hour shift assignments!

Premier provides non-emergency, 9-1-1 ambulance services and participates in regular strike team deployments.
