Job summary

Georgia Tech Research Institute (GTRI) seeks a Test Engineer for the EMSO Platform & Training Branch in Waco, TX. The role focuses on test planning, execution, and analysis across electromagnetic spectrum operations and EW platforms.

Ideal candidates will have 5+ years in test engineering, experience with EW systems, and the ability to produce detailed technical reports while handling classified data. On-site work with travel up to 50% is expected.

Qualifications

• Ability to obtain Top Secret/SCI clearance.
• 5+ years of test engineering experience with focus in Electromagnetic Warfare.
• Bachelor’s Degree in STEM with related experience.
• Experience with MATLAB/Python for data processing and analysis.
• Familiarity with EW, radar, and communication systems concepts.
• Strong report writing and communication skills.
• Experience in development/test environments and handling of classified data.

Responsibilities

• Guide test-driven development across EMSO platforms.
• Develop plans and execute SOVT events per SPEG guidance.
• Research and diagnose system failures across hardware and software.
• Primary author of technical reports for projects of low/moderate complexity.
• Coordinate data transfers for post-test analysis and report writing.
