Cape Fear Valley Health System is seeking a Training and Compliance Manager to lead clinical education, orientation, competency, professional development and regulatory compliance for LifeLink Specialty Care Transport.

You will develop standardized education and competency programs for EMTs, paramedics and transport nurses, ensuring alignment with state and federal EMS requirements and accrediting standards.

Qualifications

• Associate degree or 4 years of equivalent education/experience; bachelor’s preferred.
• Current BLS, ACLS and PALS certifications.
• Current trauma education certifications (e.g., ITLS/PHTLS/TPATC/TNCC).
• Valid driver’s license with acceptable driving record.
• Paramedic or nursing credentials with eligibility for LifeLink jurisdiction credentialing; FP-C/CCP-C or CFRN/CTRN where applicable.
• Ability to obtain SC EMS Certification within one year.
• 5 years of recent Paramedic or Nursing experience; 1 year of Air/Ground Critical Care Transport; leadership experience preferred.

Responsabilités

• Provides oversight to preceptors, instructors and staff in LifeLink education and development activities.
• Leads LifeLink clinical education, training, competency and compliance programs.
• Develops standardized orientation programs for EMTs, Paramedics, and Transport Nurses.
• Creates curricula, lesson plans, simulations and assessments for staff development.
• Ensures compliance with NC/SC EMS, NHTSA, DOT and accrediting standards.
