Job summary

Cape Fear Valley Health seeks a qualified RN to perform in LifelinK Critical Care Transport, providing advanced patient care during inter-facility transport and within the health system as needed. Role requires collaboration with CCEMT-P and transport teams.

Responsibilities include maintaining ACLS/PALS/NRP readiness, accurate documentation, and participation in quality improvement initiatives, with relocation assistance available.

Qualifications

• Nursing degree and RN license required.
• Current North Carolina EMT certification or obtain within 1 year of hire.
• ACLS, PALS, ITLS or NRP required.
• CAMTS recognized nursing specialty certification within 1 year.

Responsibilities

• Provide high-level transport nursing care in coordination with CCEMT-P.
• Maintain ACLS, PALS, NRP knowledge and skills.
• Document transport records accurately and timely.
• Support PI processes and protocol reviews.
• Assist with loading/unloading patients and equipment.
• Coordinate with receiving facility and transplant teams.
