Job summary

SC Department of Public Health seeks a data/IT lead for the Emergency Medical Services & Trauma section. You will plan data collection, manage data, coordinate training, and support research, while acting as IT representative and webmaster for the section.

The role requires a bachelor's degree with relevant experience; master’s degree preferred. Hybrid work may be available after onboarding; strong EMS/regulatory knowledge and communication skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree with relevant program experience.
• Experience in data management and analysis.
• Experience coordinating training and education programs.
• Experience in EMS data standards and regulatory knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Plan and direct data collection, data management, training, education, and research for EMS & Trauma.
• Serve as IT representative and webmaster for the section.
• Collaborate to design and support EMS systems and dashboards.
• Identify training needs and ensure NEMSIS compliance.
• Support FOIA requests and disaster preparedness activities.
