Job summary

OhioHealth Lifeline seeks an experienced RN to collect, analyze and report quality assurance data for prehospital emergency care, coordinating improvements with EMS providers and hospital teams.

You will oversee continuing education programs for EMS squads, collaborate with ED physicians and the Community Relations team, and participate in protocol evaluation to ensure compliance with standards and regulations.

Qualifications

• High School or GED required; RN license in Ohio.
• EMS-I (EMS instructor) certification required to maintain license.
• Minimum 3–5 years of previous experience; 3–6 months on the job experience included.

Responsibilities

• Maintains a safe and therapeutic patient care environment.
• Demonstrates competence in age-specific patient care.
• Adheres to HIPAA regulations to protect patient information.
• Collects, analyzes and trends QA data for prehospital EMS care.
• Oversees continuing education programs for EMS providers and maintains records.
• Communicates findings to EMS providers and coordinates improvements with hospital staff.
