Job summary

Boston Public Health Commission’s EMS Program Manager collaborates with the Office of the Medical Director to sustain existing EMS programs, advance new opportunities, and initiate innovative prehospital care initiatives in Boston. The role emphasizes strong administration, analytics, organization, and communication to manage complex programs and promote health equity.

The position includes lead roles on MIH EDA activities, telehealth, and alternative destinations, with ongoing evaluation,

Qualifications

Master's degree in a related field or Bachelor's degree with 4 years related work experience.
Strong administrative, analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
Experience coordinating multiple projects and partnerships.
Experience with data analysis and using data to inform decisions.
Knowledge of or willingness to learn about health equity and public health in Boston.

Responsibilities

Sustain existing EMS programs and advance new opportunities to improve prehospital care.
Lead administrative duties for MIH EDA programs and other special projects.
Monitor program performance, evaluate measures, and identify new metrics.
Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to implement improvements.
Develop briefing materials, reports, and program documents.
Support contracts, budgets, and funding applications.
