Job summary

Orlando Health South Lake Hospital in Clermont, FL is seeking an EMS Liaison to grow service line areas and strengthen EMS partnerships. The role focuses on building relationships, coordinating outreach, and serving as the hospital’s representative at community events.

Ideal candidates are paramedics with strong communication and relationship-building skills, capable of visiting stations, ED presence, and following up on outcomes.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Paramedic program.
• Current Florida Paramedic (PMD) certification.
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications (PALS within one year of hire).
• Minimum 2 years of field or related work experience.
• Proficiency in Microsoft PowerPoint and Excel.

Responsibilities

• Serve as an EMS advocate, developing relationships and referrals with community partners.
• Visit local fire stations, be present in the Emergency Department, and follow up with EMS on patient outcomes.
• Represent Orlando Health at community engagement events and support volunteer initiatives.
• Plan, coordinate, and evaluate community outreach and education programs.
• Identify new opportunities for partnerships and growth.
• Collaborate with ED leadership on service improvement initiatives.
• Perform data collection, entry, and reporting to track progress and outcomes.
• Maintain a professional presence and uphold Orlando Health’s commitment to excellence.
