Job summary

HANCO EMS is seeking a Paramedic to deliver pre-hospital and trauma care within the scope of their certification, serving as the local 911 provider. Care includes scene survey, triage, extrication, stabilization, and transport under medical director protocols.

Candidates must hold Ohio EMS Paramedic certification and maintain ACLS/CPR within 30 days of hire, with ongoing training and adherence to state/federal regulations.

Qualifications

• Must hold Ohio EMS Paramedic certification and eligibility for reciprocity if certified elsewhere.
• ACLS and CPR must be current or obtained within 30 days of hire.
• Demonstrates knowledge of age-specific patient care and emergency procedures.

Responsibilities

• Duty 1: Deliver pre-hospital and trauma care within certification scope.
• Duty 2: Transport to nearest appropriate facility as clinically indicated.
• Duty 3: Complete run reports and protect patient confidentiality.
• Duty 4: Record information in Ohio State Reporting program.
• Duty 5: Restock supplies and ensure equipment is returned.
• Duty 6: Sanitize transport vehicle and equipment.
• Duty 7: Participate in debriefings.
• Duty 8: Stay updated on pre-hospital procedures and regulations.
• Duty 9: Attend monthly training or CEU classes.
• Duty 10: Conduct daily/weekly vehicle inspections and know equipment locations.
• Duty 11: Ensure proficiency with all equipment onResponse vehicles.
• Duty 12: Participate in building/grounds maintenance.
