Job summary

Vital Medical Transport in Chattanooga seeks an EMS Operations Manager to oversee daily EMS field operations, supervise paramedics and EMTs, and ensure compliance with company regulations and state laws. Qualifications

• Associate degree in EMS or equivalent with relevant experience.
• Minimum five years of emergency medical service experience.
• Strong leadership and communication skills; ability to coordinate field teams.

Responsibilities

• Supervise response teams including paramedics and EMTs and manage performance.
• Oversee field operations, ensure compliance with laws, policies and protocols.
• Maintain vehicle readiness and supply distribution; manage shift schedules.
• Approve PTO and track attendance; manage fuel cards.
• Implement quality assurance programs and participate in meetings.
• Ensure PCR documentation is complete and incident reports are accurate.
• Coordinate on-scene safety, patient care, and transportation procedures.
• Train new personnel and support continuous improvement initiatives.
