Job summary

Vital Medical Transport Chattanooga is seeking an EMS Operations Manager to oversee daily operations, supervise field personnel, and ensure compliance with company regulations in collaboration with the VP of Operations. This role serves as a liaison between field crews and management, addressing customer and patient complaints while providing technical assistance to service providers.

Qualifications

• Associate's Degree in Emergency Medical Science with at least five years of EMS experience.
• Five years emergency response experience.
• Moderate knowledge of MS Office suite software. Experience in EMS software for operations, billing and management.
• Must possess a valid state driver's license.

Responsibilities

• Supervise response teams, including paramedics and EMTs; assign, review, and discipline as needed.
• Oversee paramedics/EMTs on emergency calls and ensure compliance with laws, policies, and protocols.
• Provide medical care at BLS and ALS levels and ensure patient safety.
• Manage day-to-day shift operations, vehicle maintenance, and supplies distribution.
• Maintain the personnel schedule and approve PTO.
• Implement QA programs and participate in meetings.
• Track time and attendance; manage fuel cards and incident reporting.
• Document PCRs and ensure compliance with SOPs.
