Job summary

MedEx Ambulance Service Inc. seeks an EMS Manager to oversee daily operations, supervise field personnel, and coordinate between crews and upper management. You will ensure regulatory compliance, uphold the handbook, and maintain ready fleets across Chicago-area locations.

Ideal candidates hold state paramedic or EMT licensure (nationally registered preferred) with advanced certifications. Telemedicine and advanced equipment usage are used to deliver premier EMS care.

Qualifications

• Paramedic or EMT license is highly desirable and may be required.
• National certification preferred for leadership roles.
• ACLS/PALS/PEPP/ITLS or equivalent certifications are beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Supervise field personnel and oversee daily operations.
• Direct liaison between field crews and upper management.
• Respond to incidents in the field and provide guidance.
• Uphold MedEx handbook rules and regulatory requirements.
• Maintain station duties and ensure well-stocked fleets.
• Provide technical assistance and outreach to service providers.
