Job summary

MedEx Ambulance in the Chicago area is seeking an EMS Recruiter to grow the team. You will attend career fairs, update recruitment sites, network professionally, screen candidates, conduct interviews, and extend offers.

Work closely with the Operations Manager to implement new strategies and ensure compliance with state and federal hiring laws. You will onboard incoming candidates and support service growth.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• EMT license required; paramedic license preferred.
• Experience with social media networking and marketing.
• Ability to perform pre-employment screening and interviews.
• Willingness to complete EMS System Entry.

Responsibilities

• Attend EMS recruiting events (career fairs, graduations, special events).
• Update recruitment websites and social media; network professionally.
• Manage pre-employment screening, interviews, and offers of employment.
• Implement new recruitment strategies; ensure legal hiring compliance.
• Organize incoming candidates into onboarding programs.
