Cedar Crest Village by Erickson Senior Living is seeking an experienced Operations Manager of Emergency Services to lead a team of EMS professionals, promote safety, and deliver exceptional hospitality across the resident community, employees, and visitors. You will drive life-safety initiatives and customer-service excellence in a continuing care retirement community located in Pompton Plains, NJ.

The role requires 3+ years in public safety leadership or Emergency Management, CPR/AED/First

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of public safety leadership or Emergency Management experience.
• Strong communication and customer service skills.
• Current and valid driver’s license.
• Emergency Medical Responder Certification within 6 months of hire.
• OSHA 10-Hour certification within 6 months of hire.

Responsibilities

• Support a 24-hour, 7-days-a-week operation, ensuring continuous coverage and rapid response at all times
• Assume overall responsibility for the safety, emergency services, and customer service approach to the well-being of the community
• Conduct audits, testing, and safety inspections in support of Life Safety and OSHA compliance
• Conduct investigations, documents and preserves evidence as required
• Responds to incidents and emergencies of significance and serves as the incident commander until relieved by a higher authority
• Operate company vehicles safely and in accordance with established policies and applicable laws
• Serve as the liaison officer to external first responders
