Job summary

Global Medical Response is seeking an EMS Operations Supervisor NE to oversee field crews in Washington, DC. You will coordinate staffing, incidents, and communications, ensuring compliant, high-quality patient care in fast-paced environments.

You will supervise EMTs, paramedics, and CCTs while collaborating with dispatch, hospital partners, and law enforcement. Responsibilities include disaster operations coordination, shift coverage, performance feedback, and resource management to support

Qualifications

  • EMS Field Experience.
  • Field Training officer experience, Instructor experience or past supervisory experience.
  • High School Diploma or GED; AA/BA in Business, Healthcare or Related Field Preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Gather information regarding accidents and major incidents for management review.
  • Coordinate operations during times of disaster.
  • Gather information from customers, document complaints, and work toward resolution.
  • Assist care-giving personnel (CCTs, Paramedics, EMTs) in locating resources after critical incidents.
  • Schedule crews to staff units and ensure shifts start on time.
  • Function as a crew EMT as required.
  • Provide support to field personnel to maximize performance.
  • Provide daily direction and clarity of expectations to field personnel.
  • Escalate employee issues and assist in resolution.
  • Coordinate with HR for counseling resources as needed.
  • Participate in orientation of new employees and enforce company policies.
