Job summary

Research Medical Center is seeking an EMS Nurse Coordinator RN to join our healthcare family. You will collaborate with the clinical nurse coordinator to plan for inbound EMS arrivals and manage surges to achieve timely offloads and a courteous patient experience.

The role requires RN licensure, ACLS, BLS, and specific trauma/pediatric certifications within 30 days of start date. You will oversee the EMS lounge, stroke care area, and support clinical staff across shifts.

Qualifications

• RN license required.
• ACLS, BLS, and crisis intervention credentials must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date.
• Emergency/Nurse Pediatric certifications as applicable within 30 days.

Responsibilities

• Greet and receive patients and EMS personnel in a dedicated area.
• Coordinate with CNC to plan for inbound EMS arrivals and manage EMS surges for timely offloads.
• Oversee EMS lounge and stroke care area; assist clinical staff as needed.
