Job summary

Hospital-to-Home in Fredericksburg, VA seeks an Operations Supervisor for the EMS/NEMT team. The role oversees day-to-day operations, assigns rides, reviews performance, and enforces SOPs while coordinating with leadership to maintain equipment and readiness.

The candidate must have 1+ year of cleared EMS lead experience, VA OEMS EMT certification, CPR & EVOC, a valid driver’s license, and pass a drug screen and background check. Excellent communication and adherence to regulations are essential.

Qualifications

Must have at least 1 year of experience as a cleared EMS attendant-in-charge.
Hold current VA OEMS EMT certification.
CPR & EVOC certifications are required.
Must hold a valid driver's license.
Be at least 21 years of age.
Must pass drug screen and background check.
Maintain acceptable motor vehicle record per company policy.
Must comply with state EMS regulations.

Responsibilities

Supervises NEMT & EMS crews during assigned shift, assigns and reviews rides, and enforces SOPs.
Provides guidance to dispatch regarding work assignments, vehicles, and service capabilities.
Rides with crews to observe performance and ensure operational readiness.
Maintains equipment, supplies, and vehicle readiness; ensures proper cleaning and stocking.
Coordinates training needs and performance improvement plans as directed by leadership.
