Job summary

Guilford County is seeking an EMS Logistics Technician to inspect, stock, fuel, and clean Emergency Services vehicles and deliver materials to EMS supply points. You will ensure units have proper equipment and pass required checks with minimal supervision.

The position requires a high school diploma and 1 year in logistics or inventory, with progression toward forklift and Class B licenses, ICS 100/700, driving course, CPR, and HazMat awareness.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 1 year of experience in logistics, warehouse supply, or inventory management services.
• Must obtain forklift license within 12 months of hire.
• Must obtain Class B vehicle operator’s license within 12 months of hire.
• Must obtain ICS 100 & 700 within 3 months of hire.
• Must successfully complete EVD or county approved driving course within 6 months of hire.
• AHA Heartsaver BLS/CPR Certification within 12 months of hire.
• HazMat Awareness or county approved equivalent within 12 months of hire.

Responsibilities

• Inspect, stock, fuel, and clean Emergency Services vehicles and deliver materials to EMS supply points.
• Check and resupply each EMS unit with materials and equipment as required; ensure unit passes all required operational checks.
