Job summary

Wake County EMS is expanding our Logistics Team to support frontline emergency responses. You’ll verify and assemble medical supplies in prepacked bins and stock bags to ensure units have the tools they need for world‑class care.

As a Logistics Technician, you’ll inspect, prepare and distribute supplies, audit accuracy, and use electronic inventory software to track dates and lots. Shift is 0500–1300; location Raleigh, NC; employment is temporary.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• No specific experience required.
• A valid driver’s license and a clean driving record required.
• Equivalent education and experience accepted.

Responsibilities

• Ensure EMS response readiness through inspection, preparation and distribution of supplies and equipment.
• Prepare and seal medical supply bins, bags and equipment and perform auditing for accuracy.
• Apply use of technology to ensure accurate bin and station inventory with appropriate dates/lots of supplies within kits and units.
• Stock, inspect and ensure cleanliness of response units for readiness.
• Deliver supplies and equipment to locations around the county.
• Respond to tickets for as needed items.
