Del Mar College is seeking a Grant-funded Emergency Medical Responder Instructor to teach the EMS Responder course in response to institutional need. The role requires planning and delivering instruction at varying times/locations, advancing instruction quality, and maintaining a clear syllabus.

The position is part-time, non-exempt, and security-sensitive. A High School diploma or GED, 3 years EMS experience, and Texas Paramedic certification are required.

Qualifications

• Three years of EMS experience.
• Current Paramedic certification/licensure per Texas DSHS.

Responsibilities

• Teach EMS Responder course across various times and locations.
• Develop and use diverse teaching methods to meet course outcomes.
