Job summary

Air Methods in Farmington, NM seeks an experienced Fixed Wing Pilot for EMS air ambulance missions. The role focuses on IFR operations with PC12 aircraft and compliance with FAR, AIM, and GOM guidelines to transport medical crews and patients across assigned areas.

Qualifications

• Pilots must have flown in category for a commercial operator or in the military within the previous 24 months.
• Maintains positive interpersonal relationships with colleagues, EMS representatives, hospitals and the public.

Responsibilities

• Operates Air Methods aircraft in a safe and legal manner.
• Completes pre-flight checks and daily logs to ensure airworthiness.
• Maintain authority over operations for safety of passengers, cargo and equipment.
• Familiarize medical interior and systems with the flight team.
• Complete required documentation and flight planning on short notice.
• Participate in meetings, projects, committees and outreach.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
