Job summary

Air Methods is seeking a Helicopter Pilot for Lake City, FL to transport medical crews and patients under VFR. The role emphasizes safety, regulatory compliance, and team coordination within a 24/7 operation. A $15,000 sign-on bonus is offered along with off-duty housing and relocation assistance.

The ideal candidate has extensive flight experience, Commercial & Instrument ratings, and the ATP meets the requirements. A two-year degree or equivalent is expected, with bachelor’s preferred.

Qualifications

• Associate’s degree (A.A.) or equivalent from two-year college or technical school; two to five years’ related experience and/or training.
• Bachelor’s degree preferred.
• Commercial & Instrument Rating required; ATP preferred.

Responsibilities

• Ensure aircraft and weather conditions are airworthy for patient transport within the assigned area.
• Adhere to FAR, AIM, GOM, and Air Methods policies and procedures.
