Qualifications

• Requires ability to operate aircraft safely and in compliance with FAR/AIM/GOM policies.
• Education as described: two-year college/technical school or equivalent; bachelor’s preferred.
• Must hold FAA certificates as listed: instrument rating, commercial single-engine, fixed wing multiengine.

Responsibilities

• Operate Air Methods aircraft in a safe and legal manner.
• Perform thorough pre-flight checks and sign off on Daily Flight Log.
• Maintain authority over flight operations and safety of passengers, cargo, and equipment.
• Ensure medical crew understand and are comfortable with aircraft systems.
• Complete required documentation and flight planning with standard procedures.
• Participate in meetings, projects, and community outreach as needed.
