Job summary

Air Methods seeks exceptional helicopter pilots to transport medical crews and patients, ensuring safety and compliance with FAR, AIM, and GOM guidelines. This Lake City, FL role requires 2000 total flight hours, PIC time, rotor wing turbine time, and ATP/Commercial ratings, with a strong focus on safety and teamwork.

We offer a 7/7 schedule (12-hour shifts) and a $15,000 sign-on bonus, plus housing options.

Qualifications

• Associate degree or equivalent and 2–5 years related experience.
• Bachelor’s degree preferred.

Responsibilities

• Operate aircraft safely and legally.
• Complete pre-flight checks and sign Daily Flight Log.
• Maintain authority over aircraft operations and safety.
• Ensure medical team familiarity with aircraft systems.
• Prepare detailed flight planning on short notice.
• Participate in meetings and community outreach.
