Grady Health System is seeking an experienced fleet mechanic to maintain and repair emergency and non-emergency vehicles, ensuring readiness 24/7 in accordance with policies and the EMS operations manual. You will perform preventive and corrective maintenance on all vehicles, and be part of the team supporting 911, NET, MIH and other Grady EMS operations.

The role covers day-to-day maintenance of the Atlanta and South Fulton vehicle fleet, on-call tow support, and travel to Grady EMS facilities

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• 2 years heavy/medium vehicle mechanic experience diagnosing, repairing and maintaining automobiles, vans, SUVs, and trucks.
• ASE certification in Light Vehicle Diesel Engines required within 12 months of hire.
• Valid Driver's License with acceptable MVR per policy.

Responsabilités

• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on fleet vehicles.
• Handle day-to-day maintenance of Atlanta and South Fulton EMS vehicles and stretchers.
• Be on call for tow truck service and travel to Grady EMS facilities as needed.
