Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• Current Georgia AEMT certification (EMT-I or EMT-A).
• Current BLS certification (American Heart Association Healthcare Provider).
• Valid Georgia Driver's License with clean driving record.
• Knowledge of advanced life support protocols and emergency ambulance operations.

Responsibilities

• Provides emergency medical care to patients in the pre-hospital environment per established medical protocols.
• Ensures assigned emergency vehicles and equipment are in an acceptable state of readiness at all times.
• Provides safe and effective care and transportation of patients to and from predetermined locations.
• Exemplifies excellent service behavior and timely responsiveness to coworkers, patients, clients, visitors, physicians and vendors.
