Job summary

Grady Health System in Atlanta, GA is seeking a skilled fleet mechanic to perform preventive and corrective maintenance on Grady's vehicles, ensuring readiness for 911 and EMS operations. You will diagnose and repair a range of heavy/medium vehicles and respond to on-call tow needs.

The role requires a high school diploma, two years of heavy vehicle repair experience, ASE certification within 12 months, and a valid driver's license with acceptable MVR.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent is required.
• Two years of heavy/medium vehicle mechanic experience.
• ASE certification in Light Vehicle Diesel Engines to be obtained within 12 months of hire.
• Valid driver's license with acceptable MVR during employment.

Responsibilities

• Performs preventive and corrective maintenance on all Grady vehicles.
• Maintains readiness of EMS and non-emergency vehicles 24/7.
• Handle on-call tow truck service and travel to other Grady EMS facilities as needed.
• Diagnose and repair fleet vehicles and stretchers.
