UW Health Swedish American invites applications for a Per Diem role in Rockford, IL. The selected candidate will provide emergency medical care within the hospital environment and participate in field-ready practice with ongoing certification requirements.

Qualifications

• No minimum education required.
• Must attain ACLS Instructor, PALS Instructor, Pre-Hospital Trauma Life Support Instructor, and BLS Instructor within the first year.
• Current Illinois Paramedic licensure required.
• At least two years field experience in Emergency Services required.

Qualifications

• No minimum education required.

Work Experience

• Prefer active EMT-P, RN with current field and teaching experience. Preferred
• At least two years field experience in Emergency Services. Required

Licenses & Certifications

• Within first year of employment must attain the following certifications; Advanced Cardiac Life Support Instructor, Pediatric Advanced Life Support Instructor, Pre-Hospital Trauma Life Support Instructor, Basic Life Support Instructor. Required
• Basic Life Support/CPR Certification. Required
• Current Illinois Paramedic licensure within the State of Illinois. Required
