Prime Healthcare is seeking an experienced EMS instructor to educate, mentor and assess paramedic students on a per diem basis in Illinois. You will deliver didactic, laboratory, simulation and clinical instruction to prepare students for National Registry and state certification requirements.
Responsibilities include delivering lectures, labs and high-fidelity simulations, evaluating student performance and ensuring compliance with accreditation standards and EMS regulations.
Educate, train and mentor paramedic students by delivering comprehensive didactic, laboratory, simulation, and clinical instruction. Prepare students to provide safe, evidence-based prehospital care and successfully meet the National Registry and state certification requirements. Develop and deliver engaging classroom lectures, hands-on skills labs and high-fidelity simulation exercises. Teach advanced prehospital assessment, treatment and critical thinking based on current EMS standards and evidence-based practices. Evaluate student performances through written exams, practical skills assessments and competency evaluations. Provide coaching, mentoring and academic support to promote student success Ensure compliance with accreditation standards, state and local EMS regulations and institutional policies.
