Heritage Valley Sewickley is seeking a Pre-Hospital EMS Coordinator in Sewickley, PA to serve as the primary liaison between prehospital care providers, fire, police and hazmat teams. The role focuses on building relationships and coordinating EMS activities at the local level.

You will develop, provide, and implement quality assurance and educational programs, and lead communication strategies while participating in emergency management planning as the system’s representative.

Qualifications

• Must have EMT/Paramedic certification (EMT-P) with a minimum of five years of full time experience as such or be certified as a prehospital RN with extensive field experience.
• Must have the ability to perform group speaking and instructional skills.
• Preferred: Teaching experience; Certification in BLS, ACLS, PALS, AED and PHTLS/BTLS.

Responsabilités

• Serve as the primary liaison between prehospital care and training agencies as well as fire, police and hazmat response teams.
• Develop, provide and implement quality assurance and educational programs.
• Advance communication strategies and participate in emergency management planning as the system’s representative at local, state, and regional EMS programs.
