Job summary

Ambulnz by DocGo is seeking an EMS Driver to join our Ridgewood, NY team. This full-time role offers hourly pay, a 9-12 hour shift schedule on Tue, Thu and Fri, and benefits including medical, dental and a 401K.

The ideal candidate has a valid NYS driver's license, at least two years behind the wheel of large delivery vans or box trucks, and strong communication skills. You must pass a physical aptitude test and maintain safety and customer service standards.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Valid NYS driver's license with clean driving record.
• Minimum 2 years driving large delivery vans or box trucks.
• Excellent verbal communication skills.
• Ability to lift up to 125 pounds (250 with assistance) and navigate stairs.
• Must successfully complete Physical Aptitude Test.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and submit required reports.
• Navigate municipal roads and local geography to fulfill duties.
• Respond promptly to dispatch assignments.
• Maintain rig cleanliness and inventory; report engine issues.
• Demonstrate exceptional oral, written, and listening communication.
• Be flexible with shift changes and high-demand situations.
• Ensure patient care and adhere to policies/procedures.
• Deliver top-tier customer service to patients and staff.
