Job summary

Ambulnz by DocGo is recruiting a Paramedic in Ridgewood, NY to deliver high-quality emergency care. You will work 10- or 12-hour shifts, totaling 36–40 hours weekly, with weekend availability to support 24/7 operations.

You must hold NYS Paramedic license and NYC REMAC certification, with a valid NYS driver’s license and BLS/ACLS/PALS. The role includes bonuses, benefits, and growth within a leading mobile health platform.

Qualifications

• NYS Paramedic license and NYC REMAC certification required.
• Valid NYS driver's license with clean driving record.
• Current BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications.
• Minimum one year of full-time EMT or equivalent experience.
• Able to lift 125 lbs and work weekends.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with EMS teams and management to ensure top-tier patient care.
• Shift must cover 24-hour operations; weekends may be required.
• Maintain current standards of care, certifications, licenses, and registrations.
• Provide courteous, professional interactions with patients and staff.
• Recognize and treat medical conditions using appropriate protocols.
• Transport patients and perform pre-hospital care under policy.
• Operate and drive ambulance following safety policies and regulations.
• Keep rigs clean and stock supplies.
• Gather billing information and obtain signatures.
• Prepare and submit pre-hospital patient care reports.
• Respond promptly to dispatch and other duties as assigned.
