Job summary

DocGo's Ambulnz division in Ridgewood, NY is seeking an Emergency Medical Technician (EMT). You will provide frontline emergency care and transport patients to medical facilities, working in shifts and supporting a 24-hour operation.

This role offers full-time and part-time schedules, with a pilot program that requires full-time and pays $26 per hour. Overnight and weekend shifts include a $2 differential, and full-time staff receive benefits and weekly pay.

Qualifications

• Valid NY State EMT certification.
• Valid BLS (Basic Life Support) certification with American Heart Association or equivalent.
• Excellent verbal communication skills.
• Must be able to lift, push, and pull 125 lbs. or more.
• Successfully complete Physical Aptitude Test.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with EMTs and management to assure top tier patient care.
• Be flexible as emergency services operate 24 hours; shifts may vary.
• Maintain current standards of care, equipment functions, and certifications.
• Provide courteous, professional interaction with patients and staff.
• Deliver medical transport and follow established policies and procedures.
