Job summary

Ambulnz by DocGo is seeking a Paramedic for full-time positions in Ridgewood, NY. Shifts are 10-12 hours with 36–40 hours weekly.

Weekend availability is required, with sign-on bonuses up to $3,000 for full-time hires and a referral bonus up to $1,500. Additional differential pay applies for overnight and weekend shifts.

Qualifications

• Must have NYS Paramedic License.
• NYC REMAC certification.
• Valid NYS Driver’s License with clean driving record.
• Valid Healthcare Provider BLS card (AHA).
• ACLS and PALS certification (AHA) or equivalent.
• Minimum of 1 year full-time EMT or equivalent experience.
• Ability to lift, push, and pull 125 lbs or more.
• Excellent verbal communication skills.
• Willingness to work weekends (Sat/Sun).

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with EMS professionals and management to assure top tier patient care.
• Be flexible as emergency services operate 24/7; work shift may vary.
• Remain up to date with current standards of care and certifications.
• Provide top tier medical transport to facilities and carry out policies.
• Operate and drive ambulance safely following regulations.
• Maintain rig cleanliness and organize space.
• Gather patient billing information and signatures.
• Prepare and submit pre-hospital patient care reports.
• Respond promptly to Dispatch Center assignments.
• Transport patients according to policies.
• Must be able to perform additional duties to qualify for Pilot Program.
• Other tasks as assigned.
