Job summary

Falck Northern California is seeking a Clinical Education Supervisor to lead education, competency, and quality initiatives across operations in Alameda County. The role partners with clinical leadership, HR, and external EMS agencies to standardize onboarding, training, and performance improvement.

The position requires California paramedic credentials, 2+ years as a field provider, and instructor certifications.

Qualifications

Two years of Paramedic field experience.
Current California Paramedic license (or National Registry).
Instructor certification: BLS CPR, ACLS, PALS and PHTLS/ITLS or able to obtain within 90 days.
Supervisor or Field Training Officer experience (preferred).
Proven ability to work with multiple stakeholders and communicate clearly.
Proficiency with MS Office suite.

Responsibilities

Develop, implement, and evaluate clinical education and development strategies aligned with organizational priorities.
Lead onboarding, ongoing education, and annual skills reviews.
Oversee clinical quality, audits, and performance improvement activities.
Manage Field Training Officer program and evaluate provider competency.
Ensure compliance with accreditation, regulatory requirements, and EMS policies.
Collaborate with EMS agencies, operations, HR, and leadership on initiatives.
Coordinate education resources, facilities, and training budgets.
Perform additional duties as assigned.
