Job summary

Global Medical Response is hiring a Clinical Educator III for its Critical Care education program in California. The role oversees internal Continuing Education, ensures regulatory compliance, and develops training to promote clinical competency among caregivers.

Requires RN or EMT-P, 5+ years ED/ICU or ALS paramedic experience, and CAMTS certifications. Flight experience is preferred and teaching experience is valued.

Qualifications

• Current RN Licensure or EMT-P Certification
• BS or BA preferred
• Specialty certification as required by CAMTS (CCRN, CFRN, CEN, FP-C or CCP-C)

Responsibilities

• Acts as a clinical resource to all caregivers and maintains knowledge of current standards of care.
• Develops, implements and evaluates Service Line education programs to ensure competencies of critical care staff.
• Identifies learning needs through assessments and adapts teaching methods to outcomes.
• Participates in departmental planning related to education and practice support.
• Collaborates with operations leadership to ensure integrity of the team and clinical support.
• Assists with outreach education for local leadership and customers.
• Coordinates onboarding instruction for new employees and supports simulation-based learning programs.
• Ensures compliance with clinical quality management programs and improves patient care standards.
