Job summary

WSU Tech is seeking an Adjunct Faculty member for the EMS program to deliver hands-on instruction and support student success at the South Campus. You will work closely with students and faculty to create a positive learning environment and ensure safe, effective teaching across modalities.

Requirements include current Kansas EMS licenses or Paramedic license, EMS and CPR certifications, and at least 3 years of industry experience.

Qualifications

  • Current Kansas EMT or Paramedic license required.
  • EMS certification and CPR certification required.
  • 3 years of industry work experience preferred.
  • Must be available for course assignments and to teach.
  • Strong verbal and written communication and organization.

Responsibilities

  • Submits all scholastic records by the established due date.
  • Evaluates students to measure progress toward outcomes.
  • Supervises students in classroom and lab to ensure safety.
  • Maintains credentials and adheres to program standards.
  • Ensures courses meet WSU Tech standards and current practices.
  • Supports students across online, hybrid, and on-site formats.
  • Engages with Success Coaches and Disability services to aid success.
  • Performs other duties as necessary per program leadership.
