Qualifications

• Current Florida Paramedic certification; licensure required.
• Associate’s degree in a health-related field; bachelor’s preferred.
• Florida EMS Level A & B certifications; AHA BLS Provider and Instructor.
• Minimum 4 years of field experience as a Paramedic; teaching experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Deliver EMS instruction in classroom, lab, and clinical settings per curriculum.
• Assess student performance through exams, skills check-offs, and practical evaluations.
• Ensure compliance with state and national EMS education standards (NREMT, CoAEMSP).
• Maintain attendance and grade records; provide timely feedback to students.
• Participate in program meetings and ongoing professional development.

Education

Associate's degree in a health-related field

Bachelor's degree preferred

Curren Florida Paramedic certification

AHA Basic Life Support (BLS) Provider and Instructor
