Job summary

Hopkinsville Community College invites applications for our part-time Emergency Medical Services (EMS) adjunct faculty pool. These positions fill classroom vacancies as needed when regular faculty are not available due to enrollment and scheduling, with days, evenings, weekends, and/or online delivery.

The role is non-benefited, temporary, and requires instructional planning, classroom management, and assessment of student progress in EMS topics.

Qualifications

• Must have EMT Educator (Level 2) certification.

Responsibilities

• Plans and carries out instruction, instructional activities, and prepares learning materials for special studies.
• Provides instructions to students in both theory and practice in the particular area of instruction.
• Prepares lesson plans and maintains records and reports on student attainment and progress.
• Maintains classroom order and discipline.

Education

EMT Educator Level 2 cert

Bachelor’s degree in qualifying fields

Associate’s degree with teaching competencies
