Job summary

SpectraCare is seeking a full-time IT Specialist in Dothan, AL to support EMR systems and day-to-day operations in the Information Technology department. Based at the Administration Office, travel within or outside the catchment area is required and collaboration with clinical and business teams.

Key duties include assisting in EMR design and development, workflow analysis, creating training materials, and maintaining system documentation in CareLogic Cantata Arize EMR environments.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Associate’s degree in computer science or related field.
• Two years’ related experience and/or training; equivalent combination accepted.
• Experience with electronic medical records administration and build/online business apps preferred.
• Proficient Excel and data interpretation.
• Valid Driver License with good MVR.

Responsibilities

• Assist in design of the EMR system and program development for efficient use from beginning to end.
• Assist in development of full-scale project plans and communications documents for EMR.
• Assist teams to analyze current workflows related to clients, clinicians, and staff with regards to documentation and data managed through the EMR.
• Assist in analysis of identified workflows in EMR environment and diagnose problems and improvements.
• Participate in defining EMR program scope, goals and deliverables with senior management and teams.
• Create and maintain system documentation and training materials for end-users.
• Troubleshoot and provide assistance with computer hardware and software.
• Perform other duties as needed; adhere to SpectraCare policies and procedures.
