Job summary
MyMichigan Health is seeking an IT leader to direct storage, management, and access to health information in the EMR across the system. You will align EMR workflows with hospital strategies, supervise cross-functional teams, and work with IT, clinical leadership, and MPG to implement EMR applications such as EPIC.

Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in IT, business, healthcare, or STEM; master's preferred.
- Seven years of progressive IT or information systems experience.
- Experience leading EMR or clinical IT projects.
- Minimum three years of supervisory experience.
- Experience with EPIC EMR and vendor contracts/billing.
Responsibilities
- Provide direction for process improvements in EMR user workflows.
- Oversee IT management of clinical EMR applications and serve as SME.
- Coordinate IT responses with clinical departments and IT partners.
- Develop project work plans and manage IT requests with stakeholders.
- Assess staff skills and create development plans.
- Deliver excellent customer service and perform other duties.
