Job summary

Lehigh Valley Health Network seeks a Clinical Informatics professional to bridge clinical practice and its digital strategy. You will design, evaluate, and optimize workflows to strengthen care delivery, documentation quality, and patient safety.

Translate clinical needs into EMR solutions, support build/testing/implementation, and guide end-users to ensure accurate, efficient use of technology. This role drives continuous improvement, reduces practice variation, and aligns workflows,

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing or Related field.
• Ability to analyze and solve problems.
• Knowledge of data extraction from data systems and use of MS Office/Visio.

Responsibilities

• Support the planning, implementation, and ongoing management of EMR systems and other technology, focusing on best practices and evidence-based workflows.
• Provide input on linking practice guidelines and other evidence-based concepts to electronic records.
• Assist with the creation and maintenance of documentation and decision support tools to ensure consistency across the system.
• Utilizes effective communication skills in interpersonal interactions with patients and families, physicians, students, fellow employees, vendors, and the public.
• Assists in developing standards for assessment, development, and implementation of applications and systems.
• Leverages NEAT/Signal data to analyze clinical nurses’ real-time EHR usage patterns, identify pain points, and design targeted education, optimization plans, and at-elbow training that meaningfully improves workflow efficiency and end-user experience
